Houston Pakistan Consulate: New Comprehensive Website
When Shahid Abbasi of DesignLinx entered http://www.pakistanconsulatehouston.org/ in the URL address space on the internet and asked Chairman of Senate and Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Mohammad Soomro to click the Enter Button, a most comprehensive website of the Houston Consulate of Pakistan got launched.
Mian Mohammad Soomro said: “Mr. Shahid Abbasi is our hero for having created such a nice, users’ friendly and impressive website, under the leadership of Consul General of Pakistan Mohammad Aqil Nadeem. This will give opportunity to all overseas Pakistanis to have information about their homeland on the finger tips, which will be most useful, since Pakistan needs their ever increasing remittances.”
“Ever since we have our new the Honorable Consul General of Pakistan Mohammad Aqil Nadeem, we have seen the Consulate running at High Octane and this fresh extensive website of the Consulate is an evidence of that”: These were the sentiments of City of Houston Councilperson M. J. Khan, as he congratulated all the Pakistanis and Houston Pakistan Consulate Staff on the launching of their website. Mr. Khan also gave special Proclamation of City of Houston Citizenship from Mayor’s Office to Honorable Mian Mohammad Soomro, who despite his recent eye operation came especially to Houston for this debut of the website and bestowing Mrs. Hashmat Effendi of the House of Charity with the highest Pakistan’s civilian award later on the next day at the first USA-Wide Pakistani Center located at Dairy Ashford and Bissonnet in Houston.
“This website is the vision of our Honorable Consul General of Pakistan Mohammad Aqil Nadeem”: These were the words of Dr. Zia Ahmed, Commercial Attaché of the Government of Pakistan at the Houston Consulate, as he invited Mr. Nadeem to give details about the website.
