Vivek Ramaswamy drops presidential bid

CINCINNATI, Ohio– Vivek Ramaswamy has officially ended his 2024 presidential campaign. The suspension came after the recent Iowa caucus. Ramaswamy finished in fourth place and then publicly endorsed former President Donald Trump.
Former President Donald Trump came first, and Ron DeSantis followed in second place. The 38-year-old politician was originally running against Trump. But, after losing he told the crowd that he gave Trump a phone call congratulating him on his win in Iowa. Then, he added that Trump will have his full endorsement, and by endorsing him it will be the right thing to do for America. Then, he he asked his supporters for their vote and trust in Trump.
Ramaswamy recently took to Twitter and wrote about his recent loyalty to Trump. The Ohio native has based his campaign strategy around the former President’s “America First Agenda.” He has been against the LGBTQIA agenda. He also believes in more border security with Mexico and Canada. He also wants to diminish the birthright citizenship for immigrants who are undocumented.
“I pledge to withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary ballot until Trump is also allowed to be on the ballot, and I demand that Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley do the same immediately – or else they are tacitly endorsing this illegal maneuver which will have disastrous consequences for our country,” Ramaswamy wrote on social media.
That birthright initiative constitutes the 14th Amendment in the U.S. Constitution.
“No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws,” as written in the United States Constitution.
Ramaswamy put forth more of his initiatives on Twitter that resemble many of Trump’s policies.
“TRUTH: 1. God is real. 2. There are two genders. 3. Human flourishing requires fossil fuels. 4. Reverse racism is racism. 5. An open border is no border. 6. Parents determine the education of their children. 7. The nuclear family is the greatest form of governance known to mankind. 8. Capitalism lifts people up from poverty. 9. There are three branches of the U.S. government, not four. 10. The U.S. Constitution is the strongest guarantor of freedoms in history,” Ramaswamy said.
Ramaswamy could help Trump win the south-Asian vote in America. At the recent New Hampshire rally, Ramaswamy went on stage endorsing Trump with the recent collaboration. And the crowd chanted ‘VP, VP, VP.’ And, former President Trump hinted at the crowd letting them know that Ramaswamy could be working with him for a long time.
Now, the presidential primary lies between Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Donald Trump. The Presidential Primary Election happens on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Early in-person voting began near the end of February.
