Sameer Sarmast is the President and Executive Producer of Sameer’s Eats, the first and only Halal food review web blog and video channel on YouTube. The channel has over 400,000 views and growing. In 2012, Sameer and his team launched “The Halal Food Tour” in 5 cities across the country. The tour was a series of Halal food festivals which included local Halal food vendors, cooking demos and cooking challenges.

Sameer has been recognized by local and national media outlets as well as the U.S. State Department for his efforts in highlighting Halal cuisine. He is very passionate about Halal Food and frequently shares his zeal with chefs and personalities from the Food Network. Although Sameer has had cameos on a couple Food TV shows, he hopes to see a segment on Halal cuisine make it to the Food Network one day!

Sameer resides and works full time in New Jersey as a Vice President in Wealth Management for a major financial institution.  When he isn’t working, he loves to travel and spend time with his friends and family. @SameersEats
